Call for Programs

The call for programs form is due April 11, 2008! There is a link at the bottom of this page where you may download the call for programs form.

We are seeking submissions for program presentations that would assist other administrators and their staff members in their programs and services. Current issues, unique or outstanding programs, institutional missions, goals and assessment techniques, trends of students and peer groups, etc. will all be valuable resources. Other topics could be (but are not limited to):

"Where the Heart Is": Accountability, Assessment, Accreditation, Mission Statements, Goal Setting, Student Engagement Strategies and Outcomes, CAS, HLC, DAI and other Tools
"Twisters": Student Codes of Conducts, Student Pledges, Ethics Training, Honor Codes, Academic Dishonesty, Greek Issues, Athletic Students, and Residence Halls and Campus Apartment Conduct and Communities
"The Rodeo": Media Interaction, FERPA, Freedom of Speech versus Campus Civility, Private vs. Public Campus Policies, Alcohol Infractions
"Route 66": International Student Issues, Multicultural Programs and Outreach, Current Laws, Changing Roles of ISS Administrators, ISS New Student Orientation Programs
"Oklahoma Board of Medicine": Emerging Campus Health Issues, Mental Health, Physical Health, Insurance, Pandemic Preparedness, Funding and Staffing Health Centers, HIV/AIDS Awareness, STD Awareness Programs, Healthy Living Environments, Eating Disorders
"Red Dirt Rangers" : Campus Safety and Security Issues, “Town & Gown” Relationships, Crisis Management and Response Strategies , Paraprofessional Training, Legal Issues in Higher Education, Campus Liability
